A bumblebee is one of the stranger choices for an anthro pic but the artist pulled it off well. The result is a creature that is cute and believable at the same time. Well, what can I say? It's a nice picture; I like how she has a sort of thick, curvy figure, because these type of bees are rather heavy in build, and that reflects it. Also like how stuff has a shiny glow to it and the fluffiness and of course, use of colors and putting the picture in a brown filter.
Of course, the head kind of looks creepy, but since you were going for realism it's okay. As for the extra legs? Who needs them in this case, it would have kind of over-done the picture in my opinion.
I like this, but I think I should give you a bigger thanks for making me feel a bit better about drawing up some anthro insects of my own in the future.
