I'll uh... give it a proper name sometime.

I don't know what gender it is. Oh well.

IT'S DONE except for a few tweaks. For instance, my skin shows at the wrists and neck, so I'm gluing flaps to cover it up right now.

The components:
Mask. I used wire mesh to make a mask fitted to my face, then built it up with foam. The silver you see what damn fucking useful; it's an Axius-brand silver sunlight-reflecting tarp. The black is pleather. The teeth are a jawset from Van Dyke's Taxidermy spraypainted silver and then the gums were painted with acrylics. The 'mane/hair' is a combination of pleather, the tarp, and electrical cords (two plugs hang down on either side of my face). The whiskers and insides of the ears are needles. The eyes are sunglasses lenses.

Gloves. These were simply built on a pair of gloves bought at a thrift store. The claws are a plastic sherbert container I sanded down and spraypainted silver. Tarp and pleather were used again; the armored bits are tarp/pleather over aluminum soda cans.

Tail. Made of the same stuff as the hair/mane and attached to a belt.

Body padding. A muscle shirt I made by hot gluing foam and then using duct tape to round out the shapes and add reinforcement. Tarp was added near the neck to simulate the entire chest being that same silver.

Cheers!

Marvellous final result- I particularly like the power cords. Kind of subtle, but they seem to add the right sort of weight: they stop it looking like it's all crepe paper and tape.

Any tips for working with soda cans? I've always been tempted to try them for small armour pieces (fingers for gauntlets, etc.), but have always been put off by potential sharp edges. Plus the overall flimsiness.

I only used them for the plating on the hands; honestly I thought I'd use them more but it didn't work out.

I backed them with the pleather and the tarp for reinforcement and visual appeal, making sure to fold over the tarp to keep the edges from stabbing me or others. The largest plate on the hands is bare aluminum can backed with tarp that's folded over. It creates an edge, but no stabbing!

OMG YAAAAAAY!
*Brick'd* It has ears and whiskers and it's silver and I loves it.

Definitely love the cords and the tail, like some sort of Cyberpunk Predator. A Wolf in the Wires!
0100000101110111011011110110111101101111! (Awooo!)

*Stops being a dork.* All the items you used are really inventive and come together nicely, way to go.

Thank you! And yeah, I realized later that it looks like a wolf Predator. I wanted to use unorthodox materials; I'm happy to hear it works!

FFFF Sorry. I meant it looks like something that hunts Cyberpunk Characters, a little unnatural selection. HE'LL EAT YOU WHILE YOU'RE PLUGGED IN.

Didn't make the "The Predator" connection until you mentioned it, but I see it now. XD
