Wellll... there are these optional senior projects at my school, and I'm gonna do one-- basically a children's book. This is the main character. :B Dai (Welsh name, whoo).
Anyway, I have these brush markers that my boyfriend gave me a while back and I haven't really used them because markers used to scare me. e_e Anyway, working with traditional media a lot more this past schoolyear and summer (thanks to RISD) I picked them up today to color this sketch. I need inking pens; if I end up inking this (belatedly) I'll re-upload. Anyway, this was a color study, but it came out pretty well for my first time in years trying to use markers. XD P.S. Those ARE glasses on his face, but I didn't feel like getting out the gouache to give them more of a glare look. I messed up with the markers, too, so it doesn't look so great. XB |

We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it.
