Haha... uh, this is from the SUMMER. When I did a program at the Rhode Island School of Design.
Illustration assignment: redesign or design a CD cover for an existing CD or song.
I chose this eclectic mix of Japanese music I have, since, well... I wanted to draw Godzilla on a fucking cellphone.
Medium: Gouache on Bristol board. Text was from a stencil, except for the "vol.2" bit.
Sorry about the uneven photo; but thankfully my carpet can't compete with the BLINDING red and white.
